This could be due to DNS information for clustered mailbox server 'server-name' has not finished replicating. Run setup again after DNS replication has completed. You can verify that DNS replication has completed by running nslookup server-name" I checked the Event ID and found: We are getting the following error message on one PC running XP Pro SP2. Hello, It is not a simple task to Uninstall and recreate the entire thing. I can recommend you some other things like Run IPconfig / flushdns and nbtstat-R Re-run the cmdlet Hope this will help Regards from www.windowsadmin.info

Here the solution: After a long investigation I found that link: http://www.homeserverland.com/wiki/w/whs/rpc-server-unavailable-error-0x800706ba.aspx Here the description: RPC Server Unavailable Error 0x800706ba The Windows Firewall (formerly known as Internet Connection Firewall) service and Distributed Component Object Model (DCOM) can cause access denied errors (such as an "RPC Server Unavailable" error - 0x800706ba) when trying to use the Grid Junction Custom Action scripts to shutdown remote clients using WMI scripts. The solution to fix the RPC Server Unavailable" error - 0x800706ba, log in as Administrator and click on Start – Run and type: Netsh firewall set service RemoteAdmin --> that command did not work at first because the firewall service was not started, so I restarted the SharedAccess service and ran again the command "Netsh firewall set service RemoteAdmin" It has solved my pb to create a new Storage group :-D Really hope it could help some of you!!
